IMN is proud to announce the return of The William F. Sharpe Indexing Achievement Awards presented by The Journal of Index Investing, official publication of the Super Bowl of Indexing®. On Monday, December 5, 2011, during the networking luncheon the industry’s contributions during the past year will be recognized with six William F. Sharpe Indexing Achievement Awards. Award categories include Best Research Paper; Best Index Product; Best Indexing Innovation; Best ETF Product; Best ETF Innovation; and Lifetime Achievement Award. The winners of the awards will be selected by a panel of the world's leading practitioners and researchers in the field of indexing research.
Research Paper of the Year
Awarded to the author(s) whose research paper was published in The Journal of Index Investing (JII) within the previous twelve months and meets the highest standards of quality, originality, subject matter, and timeliness.
Lifetime Achievement Award
Honors the individual who has made outstanding and lasting contributions
to the field of index investing.
Index Product of the Year
Awarded to the company responsible for the index product that had the
most significant impact on the indexing market over the previous twelve
months.
Indexing Innovation of the Year
Awarded to the company responsible for the most significant new product,
service, or strategy in index investing.
ETF Product of the Year
Awarded to the company responsible for the ETF product that had the most
significant impact on the ETF market over the previous twelve months.
ETF Innovation of the Year
Awarded to the company responsible for the most significant new product,
service, or strategy in ETF investing.
