As the corporations leader of the Enterprise IT Services (EITS) organization Mr. Robles manages a team of approximately 900 technology professionals and an operating budget of approximately $241 million. He is responsible for the information technology strategy & services for HHC with 39,000 employees and an annual budget of $6.7 billion, which includes 11 acute care facilities, 4 nursing homes, 6 large diagnostic and treatment centers and more than 80 community-based clinics throughout New York City. Last year, HHC facilities served 1.6 million New Yorkers that reflect the diversity of this global city - including more than 450,000 uninsured.
As a member of the Senior Management team for the corporation, he plays a significant role in strategic planning and alignment of information technology to support the needs of the entire organization. He is responsible for working closely with internal clients and colleagues to identify and maximize opportunities to leverage technology.
As part of HHC's IT governance he chairs the IT Executive Steering Committee and as a Corporate Officer he reports into the Board IT Committee.
Mr. Robles has over 27 years of management experience providing innovative solutions that meet business objectives.
He has served as Trustee & Board Secretary, NYCLIX (Regional Health Information Exchange Organization).
Prior to joining HHC, Mr. Robles lead Information Services for the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center as their Chief Information Officer. He provided executive leadership for all aspects of information services at SUNY Downstate's Medical Center which includes the University Hospital, its 5 colleges, the physician practice plan, and other components of the clinical/academic/research/administrative affairs.
Mr. Robles' career includes prior experience with technical, client services and general management for a major healthcare software provider and PricewaterhouseCoopers a leading professional services firm worldwide.
Mr. Robles received his Bachelors Degree from the City University of New York and his Masters Degree from Long Island University.
Mr. Robles is a native of New York City and resides within the metro New York area.
