Alan Greenberg is a noted trial attorney and litigator in high-stakes and complex business cases. He has successfully represented financial institutions, developers, operating companies, and others in a variety of real estate and financial litigation. He recently successfully obtained a $50 million jury verdict on a counterclaim on behalf of the developer of several prominent properties, including the iconic Hollywood Palladium. That case, based on the repudiation of a joint venture, was named by The Recorder as one of the Top 10 jury verdicts of the year.
Mr. Greenberg is Co-Chair of Greenberg Traurig's Orange County Litigation Practice. He has been named four times as a "Super Lawyer" in Los Angeles magazine, and has a peer review rating of AV Preeminent, which is Martindale-Hubbell's highest available rating of legal ability and ethics.
Mr. Greenberg serves on the Judiciary Committee of the Orange County Bar Association, which evaluates prospective judges, and on the Executive Committee of the OCBA's Banking and Lending Section. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Federal Bar Association, and the Board of Governors of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers.
Mr. Greenberg is a member of the Cornell Real Estate Council. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree at Cornell University, and graduated with honors from Boston University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in California and New York.
