Scott currently co-manages Guggenheim Securities’ Financial Securitizations Group, which includes the secondary trading of CDOs, CLOs, and all other non-mortgage related asset backed securities. In addition to his management role, Scott trades trust preferred CDOs, aircraft abs, and other esoterics for Guggenheim Securities. Prior to joining Guggenheim, Scott worked in Citi’s debt capital markets origination business, specializing in hybrid capital securities and structured finance alternatives. While at Citi, he structured over $8 billion worth of fixed income securities including a $1.5 billion acquisition facility for a major commercial aircraft leasing company and a $2 billion hybrid capital merger financing for a large insurance company that was the first of its kind. Scott has a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Binghamton University in New York and an MBA from Purdue University specializing in corporate finance.
