Health Care Reform Coordinator, Office of The National Coordinator

Kelly Cronin is the Health Care Reform Coordinator in the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) and has been involved in establishing and evolving the national agenda for HIT over the last eight years. Her current responsibilities involve coordination of ONC programs and policies with HHS related health reform program implementation. This includes new care and payment models being tested in the CMS innovation center, programs to support care coordination, quality reporting infrastructure and work force development. Prior to ONC, Ms. Cronin directed patient safety initiatives at the Food and Drug Administration and contributed to patient safety and Medicare modernization legislation as a staff member of the House Energy and Commerce Health Subcommittee. She's also been a senior advisor to the CMS Administrator and supported the establishment of the CMS Center for Innovation and development of their ACO program. Prior to HHS, she was a Director at the Lewin Group where she led various health services research projects. She holds a MPH and a MS in Health Policy from George Washington University.
