Arvin recently served with Morgan Stanley as EVP, Chief Administration Officer - Production and Strategic Management. In this role, Arvin was an integral part of the acquisition of $706M, NYSE-listed Saxon Mortgage. Upon completion of the acquisition he was responsible for transforming this small mortgage company and servicer to a Wall Street quality company. Arvin quickly developed a financial, risk, marketing and product development team that increased sales loan volume from $96M to $500M in 90-days, simultaneously improving product performance. With more than 15 years experience in the Real Estate industry, Arvin has built a reputation for successfully leading growth strategies, operations and sales/marketing initiatives in startup, turnaround and Fortune 500 companies. His leadership has driven culture change initiatives that fostered team empowerment / accountability while producing dramatic leaps in productivity, quality and profits. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Arvin was responsible for residential lending with the $10B Residential Real Estate Division of Fremont Investment and Loan. In this role, he facilitated growth in monthly volume from $900M in 2003 to over $3B in 2005, with PBT increasing from $177M in 2002 to over $650M in 2005. He recently formed Retreat Capital Management, a Loan Modification and REO Management company providing complete fulfillment processes and immediate benefit to Lenders as an outsourced, efficient process to rapidly address the escalating mortgage default crisis. Arvin has also implemented a rule-based advanced loss mitigation technology and work flow platform. Arvin earned his Executive MBA and Bachelor of Commerce in Business from Chapman University. Mr. Wijay served on the boards of two emerging-growth companies and is a founding partner of The Resource Board, a mentoring entity for emerging-growth businesses. He is an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth, the Association of Turn-around Management and the Mortgage Bankers Association. He is a Master Certified Mortgage Banker (MCMB) - Commercial & Residential by MBA.
