Richard Strasser is Director of Latin America for Contrarian Capital Management, L.L.C. and is based in São Paulo, Brazil. (Contrarian Capital is a hedge fund group with headquarters in Greenwich, Connecticut and with approximately US$3.0 billion in assets under management worldwide.) Richard has worked more than 20 years in real estate investing in both the United States and Brazil. He holds A.B., J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from Harvard University and an M.Sc. degree (Economics) from the London School of Economics.
